Ugh, same...this is getting depressing. Im even starting to think about flying back to Bogota when flights begin again if i dont hear something soon (which is completely impractical financially and job-wise, but i dont know what else to do...ah well hopefully we hear something soon.)

Hey folks just wondering if anyone has had any further news or movement out of Bogota VO? My immigration consultant sent a query a week ago asking for information, but we havn't even got a response from that yet, so just wondering if anyone else has had better luck?

Pretty sure they didn't, because the government won't even start processing an application until its complete (signatures and all). I actually used an immigration consultant, and im glad i did because my wife and i ended up having to send a few forms back and forth between Canada and Colombia...

Also nothing here since mid-July. Really hoping we hear something really soon, since things are opening up again in Colombia!

Well by everything im hearing now, it does indeed like the quarantine is lifting as of September 1st....ever my wife believes it now, and shes been a skeptic all along. So i truly hope that our visa applications start moving along now!!

Nothing here either, John...the status on our Ecas changed to decision made a month ago today, and since then crickets. Our first wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of September, so I’m not very hopeful that we will be together for ours either :(

Hey John, my sponsor approval came back in December, and the DM on the sponsor side on ECAS showed up there right away, and the prearrival letter came pretty much at the same time as the medical request back in March. I’m hoping to hear something soon, but I guess we will see. I’ll just continue...
