visit cic website.. i was reading their operational manuals for overseas processing, there was nothing written about the passport request and how long they will hold it.

hahahah! baka makulitan siguro. ako nga hindi na nakakatulog, ang dami ko ng natapos ng book at anime para lang hindi isipin yung visa! haay! pag maayos daw ang papers at walang problem, it'll only take one hour or two to issue the visa. sana nga walang problem sa NBI at medical.

i talked to an immigration consultant a while ago. sabi nya 6 months pa lang, so it's not yet a good time to follow up with MP and embassy. wait daw muna until may. sabi nya the last thing na dapat gawin e ang inisin ang visa officer.so wait muna tayo.. magkalapit lang timeline natin.

By law, how long can the visa office hold our passports?

anton chill ka lang.. mageexpire din medical ng asawa ko sa june. maghihintay muna kami until last week of may. pag wala pa din visa by that time, dun na kami magfollow-up.

hello!!!! my husband's medical will expire on june. kailangan po ba namin maghintay ng request for remedical or pwedeng diretso na kami magpa remedical para hindi madelay ang processing?

@anton - they probably forwarded your passport to the right office. wait ka lang muna. kasi baka lalong bumagal ang processing ng papers mo dahil sa madalas ng pag-inquire. marami pa ding october batch dito sa forum ang walang visa.
