Yes, our visa office is Ottawa. They did not ask for passport yet. We are still trying to figure out how to get fingerprints for RCMP background check. My Dad only stayed in canada twice for 3 months each time. It is weird that they asked for this. Thanks, Harnit

Yes, we received it last week. Have not submitted it yet. But, surprisingly today they sent the request to submit the fees as well as PCC. It seems they really working on the files.

I feel for you buddy. It is definitely frustrating when you have no clue why there is a delay with just few files. But, keeping fingers crossed to get some update in next few months.

Same here. Sponsorship approved in Feb 2017 and nothing after that except the email that the file has been transferred to Ottawa office. Called CIC a few times. They say it is normal process. It looks weird to me. Some people already landed last year and our files are still not even looked into. :(

I have the same issue. Cannot believe how complicated and stupid they made this application. Have been trying since April. None of the combinations working.
