Thanks to Pianat we have found out that when Background Check changes to ''IN progress'' it might take only a couple days to get Security approved. He remembered that my Background Check changed to In progress in August 18th, and according to my GMCS notes, my security was updated and passed on...

I agree.....It's really sad to look ahead and do not have any clue when we will get anything....

exactly. They will say ''your application is in progress. Processing times are just an approximation. Be patient'' I think one of these weeks they will just give a bunch of PPR and then take another month break. Just pray you are one of those lucky guys.

you are right. the give different answers every time you call. They are a waste of time. I think they might be able to see how many times they have accessed your case by phone calls to Call Centre and they might have told you february so you dont call again. They dont care how we feel.

well, even last june applicants and july applicants might need unfortunately to keep waiting maybe one more month if they dont start working again.....

not even june or july are getting PPR, not talking about August either. Dont get frustrated as I think sept applicants need to wait probably 2 months at least

well, I know that when they send PPR they specificaly say that you have 30 days to send them the documents requested. The question is.....for those who have received CORP. Does it say in the letter you receive or the document you get that you have to do it within a specific frame of time?

I know how it works. I mean, I know you have to send photos and copy of passport as I am also from visa exempt country. The question is....whe you get back COPR (without passport as we wont be sending original passport), can we leave country and wait 30 days to come back? Is there a time limit...
