    True.. They shouldn't be issuing PPR if they cant process the request and send the passports back. In case of a curfew which hasn't happened in most US states and Canada yet, it will become very difficult to explain the status to the authorities while doing groceries, etc.

    They are processing but not dispatching once processed. Unless you have another form of govt issued photo id, might be a good idea to hold onto it.

    Usually after the counterfoil is issued, they dispatch in 1-2 days. however mine is stuck at Ottawa as well, approved on the 13th.
