Good news everyone. I live in Connecticut, but the ASC isn't opening until the 27th. So I chose Boston instead and got appointments scheduled for me and my wife. Looks like it isn't up yet. But do we have to book the appointments via the IRCC portal itself? The status hasn't changed over there. Can we book directly through the USCIS website for Canada Biometrics?- RMen

I called up the VAC, they said it might open next week but cannot guarantee that yet. Asked me to call and check again next week, so yes, it is somewhere around the corner but the guessing game continues at least for another 7 days, if not more!- RMen

The ASC's aren't yet open and there is no info anywhere on when they plan to open. I just don't understand why they can't even give out tentative opening dates. Does anyone have any clue regarding the possible reopening dates?- RMen
