Hey @legalfalcon can I request you to have a quick look at this? Need to know if I should just wait or gather some kind of documents. Thanks :)

Hi! I posted the same query on Sep AOR thread. I believe, like me, not many there have much clue about this. So I am still waiting for an input. Seek opinions from experts. My gcms notes is here, if you guys can tell me what to make of this and any preemptive measures I should take with respect to additional documents I might be asked for? I have 'X'ed out all parts that would point out to me or any organisation. Your contribution will...

I had a similar question and had asked the IRCC agent over call. She had mentioned something like 'Dual Intent' and had sent me an email. Find the content enclosed here. She said, that during the application as well as at the immigration in Canada, you should mention to the officer that you PR...

My reply is solely based on what I've read and understood from online material and friends in Canada. To answer if it is safe to land on 1st, the only problem I see is that as it is very close to the expiration of your medicals, I have read that landing officer might ask you to get your medicals...

I don't know. My gcms notes is due in a week. That should give me clarity. My case is a bit complicated with my own company (self employed). Keeping fingers crossed.

Yes that's already done by the junior analysts and marked as recommended pass or review required. The latter ones wait and and just wait...

Have called thrice already. First time e was towards the end of Jan and latest was a week ago. The status has been the same, review required! Is in queue for some senior officer to have a look at it. Jan 9th was when it was last touched. The awaited gcms should give me more clarity.

I wouldn't read too much into myimmitracker as I've seen some do not bother to update their profiles once they get their PPRs. So when it says 50%, take it as at least 50% have gotten it. The number can be higher.

I believe here on PPRs for us SEP AORs will be few and far apart. The rain I think happens for applications that are straight forward. And all such sep candidates are past PPR stage by now. Ours will be picked up by these small number of senior visa officers, as and when they are free. I hope I...

19 days left for the official deadline, and I feel so impatient sometimes. The feeling of not being in control is maddening. Looking at cases on immitracker that took like 400+ days, I don't know if I should pity them or appreciate their courage. Scary how these cases show to what lengths IRCC...
