Get GIC and pay first year tution upfront this should be good for first year, now you not need to worry about the rest. FYI cic needs a bank statement for 4-6 months (depending on the type of application ).

I also got like CAD 13500 transferred to my account from an uncle just 10 days ago and I'm gonna apply for SP in June 1st week. So can this be considered a decent proof of financial support.

Only the PR's have been able to get admission in Ryerson. Since you are a PR but took school outside Canada. I suppose that explains the wait list. JK You're gonna get admission soon, Good Luck !
