    March 2013 Applicants

To answer your question, yes I do have a child as my dependent. Did you see if besides letter receipt confirmation GCMS notes also had the updated personal email address in the communication section? I think it all depends on when the officer, who your application is assigned to, gets to it. I...

Is Bridge Pemit is valid ? if the PR application is rejected due to some reason

Quote: The WP is to be valid for the duration of one year from the date of issuance. Subsequent requests from applicants to extend their stay on an open WP will be considered on a case-by-case basis. It clearly says "valid for a year", and nothing about "validity depends on the PR application...

    Got rejection...:(

Strange that the VO uses an outdated rejection letter template where Canadian educational credentials (for the Post-Graduation Stream only) is still mentioned as one of the criterias, when the application was submitted in February 2013 and no such stream was relevant by that time.

    Expiring PGWP, CEC Application Rejected.

I see your NOC is 1241. Are you concerned that your duties may not satisfy the officer, because it's a tricky NOC, hence you expect rejection?

Right. Make sure you return back to Canada before March 14th, and have a proof of BOWP application (just in case).

    April 2013 Applications

I travelled with my old WP 2 months before it's expiry date, after my BOWP application was submitted online, and had no problems at the border. The officer did bring to my attention that there were 2 months left on the current permit and I replied that I already have new WP application pending...

    don't get disappointed...!!!!

All his posts are in CEC class, so I'm guessing he isn't FSW applicant, but actually CEC. And my other guess is when CIC transferred all the files from Buffalo office to Ottawa his application might have been lost/misplaced, and now was found and the officer must be looking at it again...

    NOC 1241

Browsing through the forum I found two successful members with NOC 1241. One May 2012 applicant who landed already, and another member from August 2012 who is on her final stage waiting for passport to be sent back. I'm March 2013 applicant under same NOC.

Lawyer Failure and Hitting Walls... (CEC + PR)

It means the extra 7.5 hours you worked every week can not compensate if you have worked less than 12 months. But in your case you're good anyway, because you said that your 3 weeks of vacation was PAID. As long as it's paid it counts towards the 12 months experience.

leaving and returning to Canada while awaiting PR

You are only right about U.S. where you can not leave and come back until residence desicion is made; but in Canada you can leave and return as long as you hold a valid temporary permit. The implied status in Canada is not the same as in U.S. and same rules do not apply.
