Thanks for this ! I am still debating whether I should go the short landing route but in the short span of time that I have at hand, I have no option. The other option would be to let the visa expire :(. Are there more people with experiences such as yours?

Just call them on the number listed on their website. They will give you the information about processing times and the application dates they are currently processing. I did the same while tracking my PCC application. Hope this helps.

My credit card was charged today. My application had reached FBI HQ on 9th of September. I have submitted LOE requesting extension but haven't heard back yet.

Exactly in the same boat... hopefully its not a Titanic. My application reached them on 9th of September but my CC has not been charged yet. I will be calling them again for an update on Monday , and will keep the group posted on any updates on the processing times.

IMO only the FBI issued PCC is valid.

@aeropostale I submitted a separate CSE with my LOE as an attachment. I submitted the FedEx document delivery status and wrote a small brief on the chronology of events in the LOE and clearly asked for another 60 days beyond 16th November.

do you have a friend / acquaintance that can do the legwork for you in India? They could get the document notarized. if not, yeah, check if there are other notaries in Canada who can do it for you.

Can you ask your ex-boss to get the document notarized and send you a scanned copy of the notarized document? In my case, the notary was okay with putting the seal and stamp on the document and then we posted it to my manager who signed the document and then sent it across as a scanned copy...

Hey I am in a similar situation. Can you help me out a bit? 1. ITA received - 17th July , FBI PCC mailed - 8th July but they kept the documents in some customs check for several months and finally the fBI received the documents on 9th of September which means that I won't have the PCC before...
