In my case, webform told me no background yet, while agent told me background is in process. She mentioned there were cases which get done in a month, So that's the positive side of the Whole conversation.

Called CIC Agent, No update from them just said my background is in process. Anyone in the Same VO? What's your stage. I have to wait more 58 days. Aor : Jan 24, 2019 Med : March 5,2019 VO : Edmonton CEC-Inland No update after that.

Look like CEC applicant or overall system is slow this year.

Hopefully, by june, we get something.

Thanks, But it' s look alike, because many of them who called the CIC agent got reply, it will be done by September 2019. However, My case is a bit slow in progress like no eligibility, no background started yet. Seems like a long way. In your case, if the background is started that's a good signal.
