Today I received a general email reply from LA consulate with my file reference number and all other stuff regarding visa processing time and advising about return of passport if needed. Hopefully they will send my passport back soon...they received my application on July 11 and its been more... -

it seems like Buffalo is the slowest one out there...other consulates are moving applications quicker than buffalo...I hope only a dreamer is right about the time frame! -
