I called them this morning, she said there was no update on my file in regards to a medical request. Just that I have to wait. She did say I could do the medical if I wanted to change my conditions on my work permit, and then send those medical results for my PR app.

Still haven’t received Medical request? Am a December 10th Applicant, have received my OWP. But it seems they only start your background check if they’ve done your Medical is that correct?

Just checked my MyCIC and my OWP says we are reviewing eligibility, does this mean I will receive my work permit shortly?

Am getting a little worried, still no medical request or OWP approval and my application was received in December 10th?? Is there any point in calling them and enquiring about it?

It’s so strange, I noticed nearly everyone from Dec has had there medical requests. But when I called IRCC she just said there is no specific time for them to request Medical... My OWP says the same, received Dec 3rd but it was received with my PR app on Dec 10th, so not sure why that is!

Have been thinking the same, my application is December 10th, linked too?! Still haven’t had Medical Request, but I do wonder what order they are working in processing applications... Must be just down to the case managers...

Hi there, Am after bit of advice, my ETA status/visitor status ends on the 6th of April, I'm wondering whether I should apply for a visitor extension? Just In case something goes wrong with the OWP application? Or am I fine just waiting for the OWP to come through? Just getting a little worried...

Yes I Sent it all as one package, my PR app linked easily. And have used the same info for OWP. Shall just wait and see

Thanks NHLNFL, I’ve tried multiple times and different ways with no luck to link OWP. I’m thinking they are still creating a file for it as it’s not showing! So will just have to be patient!

Is it possible to enquire through IRCC about the application even without any Client number? I tried the link paper application tool on CIC but it had no information so im thinking that they haven't even opened it yet?
