It seems in case of "Spouse Sponsorship" any country is better than Canada! My friend in US sponsored his bf as well; They Applied in March and he is going to have his passport stamped next week! The whole waiting process for Fiance Visa in States as indicated in their website is 10 months! :-X

1- $1040 CAD is the whole cost of the process and it does not delay your case for days but MONTHS! ??? 2- Passport does not need any translation or certified copy! A simple copy is enough, but both sponsor and applicant "Shenasname" must be copied(not certified) and translated(certified).
