Hello, Anyone trying a TRV since this whole COVID thing began? I was supposed to visit my husband back in March but my flight was canceled. I am thinking maybe to apply for a TRV for him as there is nothing to lose but a bit of money. Anyone have a positive experience?

It's quite normal to just hear complete silence from LVO. My husband's application was received here in Canada in October 2019. It took until February for them to transfer to LVO. Since then, absolute silence.

Absolutely. And I find some of the most recent postings to be weird loops. You click on one link and it takes you to the same place. Even the LVO webpage gives no actual information about the LVO.

I asked IRCC on Twitter what "essential services" are. They answered with a link that was still quite vague. I do not understand how OUTLAND applications are not ESSENTIAL. We are literally without our spouses for who knows how long. If I want to go visit my husband in Qatar, I would have to...

No updates. My husband's file was transferred to LVO in February. I see some of you have been waiting way longer. His medical was done back in late Nov, early Dec. I wonder if we will get PR before that expires. I hope so.
