I remember you are in Qatar too. Did they ask for police certificates for your home country and Qatar? Just curious because I think we will request my husband's earlier from his home country because they take so long. Qatar is much quicker. Congratulations on pre-arrival!!! You're almost there...

Sorry, I am not entirely sure. But my sister married in Amman, Jordan and they did the translation at the Jordanian embassy and it worked for their application! So your best bet might be to get it done with the Egyptian embassy. Also, check if the Canadian embassy in Kuala Lumpur does...

Did they accompany it with an affidavit? We had our marriage certificate in Arabic from Qatar and I got it translated with an affidavit from a certified translator in Ontario. I found them at a local multicultural council. Also, we had my husband's Egyptian police certificate translated there...

Ours is still in process and we are over a year. London Visa Office is notoriously slow. No one appears to care to speed it up either unfortunately. I think we will all be waiting quite a while. Just to give you an idea- ours was transferred to LVO in February.

Btw ours is also with London Visa Office. They are notorious for slow processing.

My husband's application was applied for on Oct 9, 2019. We are still waiting. The length of time indicated in the progress bar unfortunately doesn't mean anything. The length of time depends on how slow your visa office is. Mine is very slow.

It's been an extremely long wait. Hoping for the best too.

I would wait til they request a new medical. I heard that due to COVID19, they are granting extensions.

7 days left until our application hits one year. I am exhausted. I cannot believe London Visa Office is this slow. It's honestly one of the most difficult things I could imagine.
