I'm not talking about "getting a PR". I'm talking about the AOR - which is the Acknowledgement of Receipt. Most people on this forum seem to have gotten the AOR letter 4 weeks after their PR application. It has been 8 weeks for me.

I submitted my PR application on June 5, 2014...it has been almost 2 months, and I've yet to receive any AOR/notification from CPP-Ottawa. Worried. Is anyone else in the same boat? I checked ECAS and there is no information on my UCI.

When you say "address proof" what did you show? Did you mention your Toronto address at all, or just give your Delhi address? What recent proof did you have? My issue is that I moved from Bangalore 2 years back, and do not have any recent address proof to show of that address, as that was just...

Thanks, that makes sense. If I withdraw, do you know if I have to collect my passport in person (from BLS or CGI?)? Or will it be mailed to me?

Can you (or anyone else) please elaborate on this "temporary withdrawal" process? Would I have to go in-person to BLS (Toronto), and request that they temporarily withdraw my application, considering my international flight on July 7? If this is the case, I plan on going to BLS tomorrow morning...

This is a common problem that many people are facing. I've had this same issue over the past 3-4 days, and was just able to log in yesterday again. It's something from the CIC backend, unfortunately. No option but to wait and keep trying, at random times.

I had my TRV approved, and my passport was received by CPC-Ottawa on June 9...but the return tracking number has still not been activated yet. Anyone else in the same boat? I have a flight to catch in 10 days, and am getting worried.

I see, thanks. That helps. Is the PCC stamp on the passport a requirement? As in, would it be a problem if my passport doesn't have the stamp with they do a PPR?

So if I were to get a friend or family to somehow get a PCC for me from India (I don't know how or from whom, but just wondering), my passport would not have a stamp on it...would this be a problem when applying for PR? Would CIC expect to see a stamp on my passport as well, or just expect to...
