Hi - I am just wondering... did CPC-Mississauga ask you for Chinese Hukou?

Anyone whose LVO is CPC-Mississauga got any PCC request lately? :(

I think PCC will be sent by LVO assigned as per SA letter. If your SA letter says CPC-Mississauga then they will send it. I believe they already sent a couple quite a while ago. They just have been rather inactive for the past few weeks on PCC.

The last time I called them they told me my file is in Scarborough.

Yeah I just wonder how fast they are. Haven’t heard anything from them in more than two months.

Certainly hope so (simply cannot wait to get my Cdn passport lol)... but i heard Scarborough is quite slow and very backlogged so i am not keeping my hopes up :(

Hmmm is Scarborough notoriously slow? Lol I know Mississauga is very slow as my friend applied in April 2018 and got test invite last month...

I live downtown Toronto. My application is with Scarborough.

Mine IP since June 6 - i asked the agent which office is processing my application and if the security clearance has been completed. So you can call CIC and find out.

Been in process since 6/6 and still waiting on test invite... Just called CIC and confirmed my application is being processed in Toronto Scarborough office and the security clearance is already done... I guess Scarborough is just too backlogged

Did you also appoint your relative to obtain Hukou? I got SA for my mum but still waiting on PCC, medical and potential request for “Hukou”. She’s here in Canada and I’m wondering if she could get Hukou without going back?

My mum is on supervisa and she came here in Dec 2017 and she is leaving next month. How long does she have to stay in her home country before she can revisit Canada? I heard if she comes back too quickly she might be refused entry at POE...

Hi I just received SA in my email. Case moved to CPC-Mississauga. Please update the tracker for me :) No PCC or medical yet.

@robertp Hi - my ecas for SA just turned DM this morning. SA letter not yet received and no PCC or biometrics request yet. Please update tracker accordingly (line 11 I think...)

@robertp please kindly update the tracker for me (line 7 I think) - ecas status turned “in process” on 7/18 for both SA and PA.

For those who are Chinese in the forum, any one knows if CIC requires copy of Chinese household registry (or “Hukou”)? I think I saw some were requested and some weren’t - it’s not consistent. If they do request it for all Chinese nationals, does CIC request it before sponsorship approval or after?
