That makes sense fkl. However, its always a case to case basis for each applicant. And as you said, applicants and their families are not dumb to know in the first place whether they are eligible to apply or not, but yet they still receive weird responses from CIC. What we are just afraid...

Hi Singham, will you be staying in India for good? Did you inform CIC or abu dhabi of the change in address? Im actually planning to resign and go back to Philippines. From there I will just wait for the result of my application. Will it affect my application?

Nothing yet so far. I noticed lately theres no update from abu dhabi applicants. I wonder whats happening.

Nothing yet so far. Still in the waiting game. I was thinking of going back to Philippines in the middle of the process, do you think it will affect my application?

I see... I am currently working here in Oman. I applied for SOWP since my husband is already working in Canada. As what I know Oman residents does not require medical. Pls correct me if im wrong. Thanks and Inshallah we all get our visas soon. :)

Thanks gwennie. I have submitted thru online application last dec. I have not yet received any decision so far, that is why I am thinking to send some more documents eventhough there is no request for additional documents yet. Will vfs accept to send my additional documents even if I submitted...
