Yes. They will send an acknowledgment email. I received mine almost 3 months after my file was received. You may contact them if your time since application received has exceeded 6 weeks. :)

I noticed na kapag ang ecas nag update na to " We started processing..." parating na ang MR. Yun ang trend. Observe niyo sa posts ng iba. Pag wala pa yun update na yun sa ECAs, chances are wala pang parating na MR. Generally ha, di naman absolute :)
