One thing that I am not sure about is having members edit the spreadsheet. After reading so many members complain about others screwing up or playing with the numbers on the older spreadsheet, I too, can see why. ::)The data is not reflecting what they post. Whether it is intentional or not...

Hi fellow Singapore members! Awhile back, in March, I asked whether a need for a new Singapore thread was needed. After second thoughts, it occurred to me that this thread has a lengthy history with so much information for future members/applicants, myself included. However, the main reason I...

According to the press release, http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/indonesia/english/news.html vfs just opened last month July 11!, with the office I mentioned above opening on the 14th of July. Seems as though you will be one of the first to use their new service. Good luck.

It was only recently things changed, sometime this year. According to VFS, they are handling passport measures. Should cost 620,000 Rupiah They don't handle any other inquiries regarding PR though. I would recommend visiting the office (Kuningan City Mall, 2nd floor, Jakarta). I couldn't...

We plan to use VFS. It seems to be the most secure method of handling your passport. There are two VFS offices you can choose from, Jakarta, and Surabaya. Once you submit passport and required docs, you can track it through VFS tracking system. You will be able to follow the progress through...

    JULY 2014 OUTLAND APPLICATIONS!

Is it possible, for your husband to print form, sign, then scan to you, or at least mail to you? Cuba is a lot closer than Thailand...shouldn't take more than 10 days. And then you just fill out form by hand and mail it to Mississauga.

One day I was bored, tried to translate a page from ladyinter into English.....it was the most hilarious read. Terrible translation...nothing made any sense.

Depends on the specifics. Without more information, it is hard to answer. Johnnycage mentioned USA, they would know. However, I would be reluctant to hide anything. Any form of misrepresentation, and they find out, you have put yourselves in a deep hole.

Where is your wife from? Has she received any communication before from Singapore? Does your ECAS show the right address ? If both are yes, then just wait another week or so. It can take 3-4 weeks sometimes. Also, when did you do police and 1st medical?

Tdot123, He was just referring to forums and blogs. Not an official website run by CIC. There is no published data until the end of the fiscal year I believe. However, reading posts and other website forums from THailand (such as thaiontario, and ladyinter) and Bangladesh (which has one I am...

I, for one hate to see anyone get the interview request. It makes little sense to me, that The Ottawa visa office (handling usa applicants plus some others) are now processing the ENTIRE applicants application in 1 month! That means, from after sponsor approval to COPR in hand! Us, though have...

Sorry to hear about the bad news. It doesn't mean they will reject your application. I agree with diyabrar, it is simply a big red flag to apply for trv or multiple trv's, before marriage. However, I was under the assumption, once on the interview queue, no additional docs will be accepted...

Not sure about your tax question. Are you talking about income tax or tax on imported goods? I am sure when you land with copr in hand, you can declare goods to follow. Not sure if this is what your'e asking though. Have you had A decision on your application?

    MAY 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

I do. Looking at your Ottawa sheet, I was astonished to see how, the applicants processing time shrink from 3-6 months, to 2.5, to 2, and now to ONLY one month processing time. All of this in a very short time frame. Whatever Ottawa is doing, it seems to be working. This time next year, I...

    MAY 2014 OUTLAND Applicants

It took one month for the applicant's entire process to have COPR in hand??? This has to be some sort of record. Ottawa is really trying to bring down the 15 month average now. Whats next? Two weeks?

Johnnycage, yes, I'm applying for my wife to live in Ontario. I have sent them what they requested. My wife was very suprised. She said, "I have not got anything from them". Guess it's the way they do things now. We are hoping this request doesn't prelude an interview request. Keeping our...

    MARCH 2014 OUTLAND APPLICANTS

I already sent all that with original application. I think they think I am still in Thailand from my recent trip. I will just send proof I am back in Canada. I think the second request, is for those who are not in Canada currently, so they can provide intent. How can I provide intent I am...
