Hi michtr, My buddy is about to apply (today) as CIC put him in a category then cancelled his app after he applied in April, they cancelled it last week. No reason either.

So who needs RCMP checks and bio taken?? Is it everyone? I have yet to find someone from the Commonwealth that needs this done? Im English by the way

Finally, Checked my ECAS just now, third line has appeared!! Medical Results Received, not bad considering I sent them 2 weeks ago! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Check my ECAS again 4 times today, nothing, still only two lines. I would love to know why there is no standard procedure for such an important issue or process, apart from suit yourself in how you deal and log the PR applications!! Very frustrating

When does ECAS get updated to match MyCIC? I don't have access to MyCIC I can only get screen shots from my solicitor but my ECAS has not updated since June 2nd but MyCIC has chaned t6o BG in progress??

So they don't just change you over, its back to square one? That seems unfair, his application went in April 2nd and all that time waiting was for nothing? Do they fast track it?

So just to clear something up, I dint mean he was accepted in both classes, but when you submit your profile to CIC they come back and say your eligible for different classes, mine was CEC, FSW, FST, I think that's what they were. Either way out of the 4 classes, they accepted me for 3 of them...

Hi Esantos, I don't know what CIC said to him, our immigration company that is dealing with our applications rang him yesterday with the news, needless to say he hit the roof! All I know is that this company has submitted another application in case CIC say no, all I can think is that yet again...

So my buddy today has been told that CIC may have put him in the wrong class? He was accepted by CIC under both FSW and CEC, application submitted April 1st, he finds out today that something has gone wrong? Anyone else heard of this? Esantos, yer there are so many people moving in many different directions on here, I can only check my ECAS as I hired a solicitor to do my paperwork so they are the only ones that can check MyCIC page, they send me screen shots once a week so its frustrating for sure!!
