Thats great news!! When did you submit your 100$ fee?

Applied May 6th Paid online Aug 21st Still no approval. It is now 162 days.

I honestly have stopped believing that date. There are so many people from before that day that haven't even been approved yet.

Applied on May 6th, submitted $100 fee on Aug 21st. Still no response.

Processing times have been updated up till Sept 18th. Now at 132 days and working on applications submitted May 8th 2015. I applied May 6th 2015, paid 100$ on Aug 21st, still waiting.

They always post updates one week back. So on the coming Friday (25th Sept) they will post an update of Sept 18th. Youre almost there, just wait a bit longer and you will get it. I applied May 6th and I'm not expecting mine to be approved any time soon.

Apparently CIC receives the file 7 days after you submit it. So until then nothing happens.

Applied May 6th. Still no progress yet. This is unbelievable. I mean I knew government people didn't meet schedules but seriously? CIC needs some serious process improvements.

It seems they have been working on Late may Early june applications this last week. hopefully they go back to April and early May applicants this coming week.

I got in! Seriously, keep trying! Once she finishes the initial french statement and speaks the next one, type the numbers 3, 2 and 0. This should take you straight to the agent for foreign workers. Its a lot faster than waiting for her to say the whole thing.

Keep trying every 5 minutes. You will get through! You have until 4 pm local time! I have faith in you!

Ugh. This is unbelievably frustrating. I am about to lose my job offer because of a lack of work permit. Why are they taking so long? I applied May 6th 2015 online. Paid 100$ fee on CSE Aug 14th, and resubmitted receipt when requested on Aug 21st on MyCIC. No updates since then.

I totally agree with you. We have now been waiting over 120 days. Its unbelievable.

Congrats vig0610!! I applied on May 6th 2015 and I know a few people who applied the same day as me got their work permits. I hope mine comes soon! :)
