Mine still shows in process since November 6th :( I guess I have to call them again next week though an agent told me when I called them on November 7th that the application was approved the day before.

Yes, I did call them on Friday. The officer said that my application was approved the day before (on Thursday), and that I should receive the pr card within the next couple of days. My ecas now shows a record that my PR card is being processed since November 6th.

I landed 3 weeks ago, I don't have any updates on ecas related to PR card, even not if they received or started processing my pr card application. I'm gonna call CIC tomorrow to figure out what is going on.

Congrats! Then you should receive your card pretty soon. When did they start processing PR card application? I don't have any updates on my PR card on ecas. Just complete for PR application.

I landed on October 16th. The processing time for new PR cards is 19 days. Reading other threads (from those who landed in August), the ecas should reflect PR card processing.

Thanks! I think weekdays are the best, because I would assume more people cross the border on weekends, and more people would want to do the immigration. I was there around 5 pm on Thursday, and there was no line at all in US and Canada! :)

I think he said 90 days. They also give printed instructions on what to do after obtaining the residency and how to maintain the residency, and etc. Thanks guys for your wishes!

I did my landing today at Coutts Canada/US Border. We parked our car at the canadian side, then walked to the US, where they gave the refusal to entry US (even if I had the US visa, they give refusals because as they said this is how happens all the time and it doesn't affect any following...

People prefer to drive to the border once they get passport back rather than waiting for the appointment at CIC which can take weeks. For those who did landing at the border, did you enter US, or US gives administrative refusal? Thanks.
