Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Thanks for the suggestion, Jaffa83! I don't know -- all my interactions with CIC through a case-specific inquiry resulted in pre-formatted replies that had no bearing on the actual issue I was concerned about, and I doubt this would be different. I did, however, explain (as best as I could) in...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

I've been following the various BOWP threads on this forum closely (the topic is very relevant for me), as well as this one, and I don't remember seeing a single person receiving that second letter confirming your application is complete. This includes people who've already received their PPR...

New Rule regarding PCC by cic (PCC valid for 6 month)

Sorry -- I misread. Then yes, it sounds like it should still be valid!

New Rule regarding PCC by cic (PCC valid for 6 month)

If you live in Canada and that PCC was for Canada, then no, it's no longer valid, since it's older than 6 months. But I don't understand why you'd be concerned, since it isn't required to send the Canadian PCC to begin with.

Filling travel history after getting ITA

The electronic application clearly asked for all pages in your passport bearing stamps, visas, or any other markings. So I'd definitely add those and let CIC do what it what they please (that's what my wife and I did; I don't envy the VO who has to decipher all those stamps).

New Rule regarding PCC by cic (PCC valid for 6 month)

My understanding -- per the CIC website (I can't add the link) -- is that we don't have to provide a PCC from Canada unless we're specifically asked to send one by CIC.

New Rule regarding PCC by cic (PCC valid for 6 month)

I have to say, this must be the first reasonable thing I've seen come out of CIC since I've started preparing our application. Between my wife and I we needed seven different police certificates -- we've moved around a lot -- and it was a nightmare to try to get them all at once, let alone to...

ECAS - Changed From inprogress to Application Received

Re: Medical Pass --- April 15th -- Background Status(In progress) For us these two changes on the same day yesterday, April 23rd. It's interesting (good?) to see others have a very similar pattern. In ECAS, is your status "In Process" or "Application Received"? Ours started as the former but...

Filling travel history after getting ITA

One thing to bear in mind -- the system didn't let me create more than 30 trip "items" when I tried (which I was annoyed about, considering how much time it took me to piece together 50+ trips from the past decade!). It may have been a fluke, but in case you try to save more than 30 items and it...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

I'm in the same position, fl_pie -- my ECAS status also changed from "In Progress" to "Application received" earlier this week. At first I was concerned, but we also just had our medical changed to passed and bg check changed to in progress today, so hopefully this isn't a step backward, but...

How long did you wait for AOR after submission?

I've long lurked in this forum, but thought I'd register to chime in on this particular thread. We received our ITA in the second draw (February 6), and sent our application on March 1st. We immediately received the "confirmation of electronic transmission," which up until today I assumed was...
