I understand your frustration, Acecube. I also wondered why some cases take longer than others... Maybe it depends on whether you have been out of couuntry, how often, also if your sponsor is a PR or a citizen or how long your sponsor has been in Canada, etc... I really dunno what criteria they...

We are also using an agent, GMS from Mauritius. He told us that we could probably get the visa by early next year if we are lucky. Did ur agent give you any idea when to expect the visa? All the best.. Have faith and keep going!

Oh, that makes me feel reassured! But I am not expecting to hear from them so soon as the status has just recently turned to application received.

I hope that you hear good news from them soon :) I was under the impression that it takes some 6months on average to get visa once the file has been transferred. But from the timelines on this forum, the processing time seems definitely longer.. Hmm, i really hope things get moving quickly...
