no difference as far as im aware. if youre physically in canada then you can use privacy act and dont need to pay the fee. however if youre not in canada, you apply under access to info act and pay $5 fee

Got a new set of GCMS notes from August. Basically nothing has changed except for NOA &T4 2012 I sent were added to my file.

WHAAATTT? At least you're luckier than I am! O_o! When I received mine, it said they haven't even started the eligibility section :( only the criminality section was in progress. I don't think mine had any additional notes. Where did you look?

I got mine about a week ago. Only thing that was in progress was criminality :( I ordered a new set yesterday. Will let you know once I get it in a month XD

Aww that's so nice! Good for you! I'm not 100% certain but I have a feeling it is being delayed for us. It could still be a coincidence however since the strike happened, everything has stopped on my file. and I read somewhere that a number of officers were sent to help out visa processes...

I never said I thought it'd move faster :P i was HOPING it would. Plus, before the strike it was moving at a faster speed and initially January applicants were expecting to see their MR by now. Well without the strike, I think it wasn't impossible. At least there would've been some applicants...

I got my GCMS notes today!!! To be honest, I don't really know what to look for or where to look at :( However, there's one thing I got from the 24 pg long notes and it's that nothing has started but the criminality check. At least the criminality part said "in progress"

i applied for my GCMS note on Jul 1st which means i should be getting it sometime soon but i heard even these processes are being delayed :P who knows when ill be getting mine ill post my info on GCMs note once i get it. fingers crossed!

it is not a problem. I had the same issue and called CIC call centre TWICE and that was the answer i got lol they told me to just update my mailing address and all was good :) you can even get your medical done while youre in china as long as the doctor is listed on CIC certified doctors list...

I hate the strike :( Everything has been delayed since the strike started. I am planning on going back to school in Sept and was hoping to pay domestic fee (tuition) rather than international. I just had to have it done by November 1 and it seemed quite possible considering my friend who applied...

Can anyone please help? :( If it is not too risky, I want to just send the pics of my NOA and the web version of it. Any suggestions?
