Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

I disagree. It is a legal right to move to Canada provided they meet the requirements. Why? Because as long as they meet the requirements, they cannot be legally refused right? This is what makes it a right.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Again, I wouldn't even be here applying if my spouse didn't have the legal RIGHT to apply and move to Canada. I don't need to quote any law. It is clear as day that any spouse that meets all requirements has the legal right to move to Canada to be with their spouse.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

I said if a spouse MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS. I think people in here don't even read or understand what I say.... No, your statement has NO basis in fact, logic, or reasoning. Please just stop.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Right, the law states that any Canadian can have their spouse move to Canada, provided they meet the requirements. This is called a right, not a privilege. Not sure how you aren't getting this...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

I think anyone in this forum should already know the requirements. It is not a "privilege" to move to Canada to be with your Canadian spouse. It is a legal right, again, provided your spouse meets the requirements.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

I disagree. Any spouse of a Canadian citizen has the legal right to move provided they meet the requirements. All of you are absolutely heartless. Is this how you treat future Canadians? WOW is all I have to say.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Huh? My spouse has the legal RIGHT to move to Canada to be with me. If only they would process the application faster. You clearly don't understand economics. Yes there is plenty of money from taxes, application fees, and more to pay for 1000's of extra officers. It's really beyond me how...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Only the government would have official numbers. All I can do is guess. The money would actually come from the extra taxes paid by the spouses that arrive early. They could also have an option for express processing if you pay extra. It boggles my mind that anyone is saying that they should not...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

You can think what you want. I think the spouse and children of a Canadian makes it a Canadian family, especially if they are trying to move to Canada and have every legal right to do so. At worst they are a future Canadian family. The only problem here is the time of processing is too long. I...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

It just makes sense that the taxes paid by spouses getting to Canada 11 months faster would add up to a lot, right? I'd imagine the extra taxes from 100,000 people would probably be more than the officers salaries of a few thousand more people. They could even tax us more by having an option to...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

That's exactly how it works actually. People (spouses) work and pay taxes which is what pays for all the Canadian resources.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

If it would help my application go faster, then I would seriously fly to Mississauga and process the application myself and the application of 10 other people....for free!

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

The taxes paid by spouses working a job in Canada and paying sales tax, property tax, etc should more than cover the cost of the officer salaries. In addition Canada would tax the officers salaries...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Someone from the GSS program can be approved and moved to Canada in 14 days. If they can process someone that fast, then certainly a spouse can be processed that fast. Give the spouse the same kind of temporary visa. Yes it is reuniting Canadian families! Not sure how you don't get that! Is your...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

They need to hire more immigration officers if it takes them 12 months to process an application.

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

If no one complains about a broken system, then nothing will ever change. I love this country and want it to improve for myself, my family, and all Canadians and future Canadians waiting to move here. I hate to think that over a million future Canadians in just the next 3 years will have to go...

Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

These are Canadian families and I think they should be priority #1. Reuniting families in Canada should get the 14 day express entry, not these foreign workers that have zero ties to Canada. If they can process THEM in 14 days, then everyone should be processed that fast, especially Canadian...
