the 5 years sponsorship bar doesn't apply to you;only to spouse,common law partner and conjugal partner. you were sponsored by your father so you can sponsor your wife as soon as you get married if you wish. good luck.

I would say better to wait for the marriage certificate before sending your application because they may return it due to missing documents

I think the medical is good for one year.If you did the x-ray less than one year ago, you should ask them whether they could use it since it's not expired; and redo the rest(blood,urine etc...)

Unfortunately, I think that you must pass the chest X-Ray because they want to make sure that you don't have tuberculosis for example. But did CIC resquest a new medical?

hello I am not with Dakar Visa Office but my cousin is. I know that 2 of her friends got the visa after 12 months exactely.They both applied in august 2013 and landed in Montreal in august 2014. My cousin applied in July and nothing yet.
