I agree. The problem isn't the CIC's inefficiency. It's the priority for some files (like EE or outside application) which isn't understandable. 11 months for an inland application vs 8 months for an outland application who has never travel to Canada and say to you "oh I'll see the snow and...

I'm on 3 forums (two french-speaker and here) so I can compare. You said CIC cleared 312,000 applications but how many are EE or outside application? Plus many people don't love forum because it's stressful for them :)

Thank you for your help T-hEMK! I think I'll wait until friday. If I've got my PPR, I'll send it with my passeport request. If I don't, I'll send my file by IRCC form. If I don't have my PR before July 13th it'll be a mess anyway, so wait any longer or not won't change anything in this case.

Is it the same thing even if my fiancé is Canadian? because when I check on permanent residency file (IMM5409), it says: "This form must be completed and signed by the sponsor and common-law partner, only if the latter is a co-signer on the application" which is not the case here.

So I have two versions^^ I agree with v_sanhot: I don't want to take any risks. Their file management s*** already and I don't want to give them any reason to kick me out. but another month of delay for nothing...my fiancé doesn't count for my file. He don't help with money, with sponsorship...

Hello everyone! I have one question for you: My fiancé and I are officially common law partner since today! Do you know if I need to advertise CIC about it? because my fiancé is canadian (He was born in Canada) and he didn't help me with my file. I did a CSQ with a PEQ. I'm scare that...

I think you're right. It's the only explanation even if it isn't fair for all of us. This can also explain why most of PPR has given between 3rd and 13th day of month.

Thank you very much Nala! It's nothing^^ We are on the same boat and everyone have the same questions, fears, anxiety etc. So if I can help a little bit, it's with pleasure. My only fear is to not be understandable because english isn't my native language and I'm not bilingual :) take care

You can try to link both if them, but it may be possible that it's not working. ECAS: go to ECAS and enter your IUC, family name and country. GCKey: you need to create an account. After that, go to "link my application" and enter your informations. Many of candidates have trouble to do it, so...

You need to wait. You'll receive your AOR (confirmation of reception by CIC) to 3 or 4 months (approx.) and you'll be able to link your application to GCkey and see your file with ECAS. GCkey is the new ECAS. You can see the progression by step: - Application status - Review of eligibility -...
