I had the same concern. I include my Canadian study and work record in my travel history since it's out of my original country. But I'm not sure if it's necessary. I don't think it's a bad thing to give them as more information as you can as long as it's true.

They told me exactly same thing. But I told them to give me a official letter and state the open date for each account. Stamp and sign. Just go back to tell them exactly what you need. Tell them to give you a bank letter.
