hello I have similar case ..... I had been called for medical examinations after interview by 3 months .... I am still waiting for processing to be finished ...it passed 9 months after medical examinations right now and yes background check starts directly after interview. good luck

hi I have similar case ....I finished medical exam last May (7 months is passed) and my current status is still in process. next step is waiting for embassy call to submit your passports and know your flight date. once your case is finished by CIC they will inform you to submit your passports...

but there must be range based on similar cases in the past .... how long it takes after medical examinations to reach decision made or departure date??
