Thanks for the info! Hopefully it won't take too long, and I'm really glad they're not as slow as CIC! :)

Maybe so, but I still don't know how long it's going to take. Does anybody remember how long it took to get something back for CSQ?

Yes, I did that. :P Hard for someone that doesn't speak French to figure out what all the sites are that comes up from a google search!

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Yay I found it and I think I'm okay! However, attainment of the maximum number of applications does not apply to you if: you submit an application under the Programme de l’expérience québécoise (Québec experience program); you have a valid employment offer in hand; Citizenship and...

Yeah, that's the problem...I never got an AOR letter either... :( No AOR letter, no request for CSQ until now.

Where can I find that information? I couldn't locate it myself.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Oh that's just great... We didn't lose the original, the slackers at CIC never sent us the request for CSQ, so since we used a lawyer I just always thought he had it included in our paperwork. Obviously not. This is terrible news... I may take a break from the forums for awhile, while I'm...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I had a quick question...for those of you that had to do CSQ, how long did it take for Quebec to send it back to you so you could send to CIC? I'm just hoping it doesn't take long so I can finally get my AIP...

This part is probably where they got confused: "Please note that a final decision will not be made until all remaining requirements for becoming a permanent resident have been met. These requirements include medical, security and background checks for you and, if applicable, all of your family...

Thanks for the clarification! I had a feeling that's what it was for but wasn't positive. The kind of sad thing is, we're having to go through all this extra for being in Quebec, and we're planning on moving to Ontario in the near future. Oh well, lol. I joked with my husband I should have...

I think our correspondence with CIC has been all messed up...I never even received AOR (neither did our lawyer) and I'm assuming that's why I never received the request for CSQ either. It's like I didn't exist in the system until we called and inquired about the AOR. The only mail we've...

I think it's just the luck of the draw really. I think it's up to the officer reviewing your file to either request a new one, or if it's expired get something to allow them to extend the results to be able to be used. We haven't been asked for another one yet, but I'm not ruling it out...

It was sent to our lawyer, we have him as our contact for CIC so we never receive any emails, all information goes straight to him through snail mail. Sometimes I regret that decision, lol.

Not sure, my husband just says it was paid to Quebec, so I'm guessing it's for CSQ? I haven't been able to sort out the details with him yet, I'll have to wait until he gets home. Also, he said that when he called CIC they said they don't have a record of that letter even being sent! So...
