You dont even need to show your passport for domestic flights, i always use My drivers license or if you have any other Government issued ID will work aswell. They only check it at security desk and before boarding the plane

This is from the inland spousal application guideline in regards to police certificates "documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18." so do we still have to get a local police clearance?!
