I am officially starting to lose it. Five months and my application still has not been opened. My MP contacted the minister's office and was told to wait yet another month before they check with them again. This is ridiculous. Last time I called CIC they still have my contact information from 4...

So after five months, still no AOR. Gave CIC a call and they confirmed that they have my application. This whole thing is very frustrating, any recommendations?

Just called CIC, the agent said that my application is 10 days past the date when I should have received my AOR. He put in a request for information to the nova scotia office and said they should get back to me soon. Fingers crossed! If anyone is still waiting, try giving them a call.

Man, I'm in a similar situation. I'm probably going to move to another province this summer and would prefer to be done with this process before May comes.

Same boat as the other guys. Application delivered on October 25 and still no AOR. ECAS shows nothing. I submitted a ticket through the webform and I'm waiting for a response. So beyond frustrating.
