No medicals for visitors visa??

Are we require to give medicals for tourist visa?? Earlier, before the pandemic, tourist visa was sanctioned within 15 days. Medicals, etc are difficult within those 15 days.

My wife has given her biometrics today but the finger prints were not captured. The visa official said that we may receive a mail asking her to resubmit her biometrics again. He said it is common among women of 50+ years of age. Have you come across any such case and what was the outcome finally??

It is uploaded in the the gckey, but status has not changed. The visa official also told us that biometrics have been uploaded but IRCC may ask for redoing biometrics if thay are not satisfied. Under biometrics it still says biometrics have not been received!

We received biometric letter yesterday and when we tried to book an appointment the earliest date was 10.11.2021, which is beyond 30 days. Should I submit webform or is my biometric letter validity extended automatically during these COVID days??
