Hi Rag, heartiest congratulations... quick question.. during the time did your background check change from not started to under processing on the same day as you got the medical request? cos thats happened for me...no update for 7 months post MEdicals passed and then suddenly background check...

Medical done - 20th April 2018 AOR - 7th June 2018 Medicals Passed - 15 th June 2018 Re Medicals requested & Background status changed to "under processing on 5th April 2019 Medical done 8th April 2019

Hi Guys, Please help! We have gotten the Re-Meds done today and they gave us the acknowledgement receipt/doc with our photograph on it. Do we have to upload it anywhere since there is not option to upload this anywhere on cic. thanks

No idea ... last time I called cic they said the file was being processed from inside Canada

7th june we applied and got the ITA on 24th june

Guys is something wrong with cic login ... every time I login with gc key it redirects back to the cic home page ... heppening from the last 2 days ..

Oops... which country are you applying from ? And what are your thoughts ? Did you get any suggestions from anyone about this whole delay ?

And is it normal that it’s almost been an year and the background checks have still not started ? I had lost all hopes but someone told me that if they had to reject our file they would’ve done it long back within the 1st few months of filing the papers.

Yup married ... spouse doesn’t have a masters only a bachelors ... I got the highest Ielts score, bachelors, PGDM from uk, 7 years work ex in mic 0124 which are all approved and met as per gcms notes, funds met ...

Spoke to an agent today ... she said that it’s the same status she is seeing San my notes where points below cutoff due to education .... in the end she said that the application is still open and no work has been done in it post that ... so she couldn’t tell me wheather they will straight away...

Guess we won’t be migrating ... it’s a shame after all this hard work and all assessments getting clear except this one tiny education bit which all Consultants advised is fine and the scores also said the same on the cic crs tool ... sad few days ahead ...
