One add-on to Sunny's reply--- even you can find a specialist for your own, you still need the CIC panel doc to send a referral for you Cuz there are some forms that the panel doc needs the specialist to complete.

My dad was informed to see a specialist on the same day he did his medical exam. Definitely it will over 30 days limit to see a specialist in Canada. So I sent a letter to VO—Hong Kong with a emedical case details which I got it from the panel doctor. It works well for us.

They have to submit PCC If the parents live in any country other than their home country for more than 6 months.

My parents got their pcc in Toronto. I forgot how much it cost, less than $50/ea. We received the PCC by mail one week later.

As far as I know, you are not eligible to sponsor your parents now since you are just being sponsored to Canada by your spouse. Please check CIC website for eligibility.

U r so lucky. I am 2nd round too, but only got SA. I don’t know how CIC determines LVO, my parents already with me in Canada for 2 years, but their LVO is Hong Kong. If I were u, I will do what they ask me to do. I don’t want any accident. You and your family will have lots of time together...

No, it didn’t mention. That’s all i can see from Ecas. I didn’t get a SA. Hopefully everything goes well.

2nd round appt. I logined Ecas today using sponsor’s UCI. Here is my findings: Sponsorship status: decision made (no specific date when it happened, and no email inform) PR appt status: in process Appt received on Oct 4 Started processing on Jan 17

Hi everyone, I am just able to link my account today. Appt received on Oct 4. In the online file it said “your action is required ”, but no message for that, and I have never got an email requested anything. Should I call CIC for this?
