Lord we pray!!! What doc request did they ask from you? Im surprised they are taking long with your file, usually people have gotten ppr after one month of submitting their documents.

Sorry just to be clear my husband is the PA so i sent his AOM on his behalf via email.

I got the email Mar 7, and send my docs on March 14. So got an email on 14 and then on the 16th.

I've decided not to check ecas and mycic as frequently because mine has been updating, Im getting all communications via email so I'm standby for my email on my phone. My hubby is the PA so i check his email.. but im glad they CC me in all emails so i get them too! hoping my hubby will get PPR...

They asked me for AOM but not oringal so i sent it via email. they send me confirmation email two times. One on the same day stating they got the documents and the a second one two days after stating they have added it to my file.

Youre right, immigraton had made the promise they will rush the applications prior to dec 2016 first but it seems they are doing things backwards and prioritizing recent applications. They received my application in november 11 2016. I only doc request a couple weeks ago asking for AOM...

i know its still early but did anyone get news yet today? ;D

But they have until april 30th to file taxes technically.. i guess if you apply now they might ask for 2016 later on.. but CRA are really fast, if you file today youre notice of assessment will be ready in a couple of days.

Good to get an update, but still leaves so many open ended questions! Why does it take so long for finalization when other applications after are being approved and getting PPR.
