CIC updates in Canada processing every week, yet nothing is shown of new NOV 25 cases in their timeline. also, I think for the overseas offices they use to update those timelines every quarter. I don't know what's going on right now.

CIC timeline doesn't make any sense now as the whole process of how to proceed with applications is changed and people who applied in Nov 2008 ( submitted additional docs in Dec 2011) got approvals and their cases are sent to CPC-O for further processing and some are already asked to submit...

According to CIC, there are more than 23000 applications still pending in abroad visa offices in the parents/grand-parents category before they requested additional documents from 25000(approx) ( not sure about whether these 25000 are applications or persons included in those...

I think those timelines do not make anysense now as processing times are changed, and also people who applied in Delhi upto JAN-FEB 2010 got their visas stamped. Also, the applicant who submitted their applications in the end of 2010 were asked to submit their Medicals, PP, and Police...

Does anyone from Jan applicants received any communication from CIC?

I think according to current processing time it can take a month or so....

My documents reached CPC-M on JAN 7, but no update yet...

Hey shuga, I was wondering whether you got any communication regarding Medicals cause I heard CIC has started sending emails to have Medicals done whose files are processing in Ottawa.
