how do you check status/inquire if the 31 day mark for gcms has passed?

How does the privacy form need to be filled out? Just received an email that the form was not completed correctly. Who signs section C? Who is the representative? In our case, the applicant is applying for notes (both on sponsor and application).

Has anyone ordered GCMS notes and if so, which stage of the process were you at? Were they informative?

I feel like they didn't look through the application carefully enough because the letter says they haven't receive the certificates, not that the ones provided have expired.

We submitted the application in March 2016, so the police certificates were ordered late-January 2016. Could they really be expired already? The countries requested are the same two countries of police certificates we provided in the initial application (only two countries possible).

So this is weird - got an email from CIC asking to send police certificates. But this was included in the initial application - in fact, we provided original copies of police certificate as requested and now they came back saying "As per our records, you have not submitted the required police...

For those of you who were able to link OWP to myCIC account, do you actually have anything under Status? I just got the linkage to work (following the comments made earlier by not including City/Country of Birth), however there is no update under "Check Status". There is an Application Number.

Would you happen to know which option should be ticked off for "I am applying for one or more of the following" in this case for IMM5710E - Extend my stay or remain in Canada as a worker? And is it just this form and the fee receipt that should be included in the PR application?

Yes, he would prefer to continue working. We read that applicants with IEC visa do not get implied status so we would like to submit for OPW and PR (Inland) as soon as possible, in the hopes that OPW arrives before his IEC visa expires.

A follow-up question on this topic: What should my husband choose if he currently has an employer and would like to continue working after his IEC visa expires either with the same employer or a new employer?
