when I first heard we had to go to the hospital for the xrays/bloodwork, I thought oh great, an all day process, however we got in at the end of the morning rush and took maybe 1/2 hour, wasnt too bad.

Not in Calgary, Im in Newfoundland, there was only one place to go to in St Johns...exam and urine test done in house was $155, then they sent us with a request paper to the hospital to get the xrays $266, and the blood work $78. All was easy and very well handled. Guess everywhere can charge...

Ccngratulations!! Same thing happened with us this week. Status went to "decision made" on both sides this past Wednesday and then last night received the AIP email. Nothing has changed om MyCIC, same as you, reviewing eligibility, blah, blah blah...hoping next communication is the landing...

ok thank you. So as far as name changes on passport I contact USA passport department with updated info. Also, what about getting a SIN and medical card? That comes after with the PR card I assume? Thank you for the heads up on the questions that will be asked.

so the letter I will get will give me all the details I need for the appointment, correct? I assume we can ask questions regarding passport? Do I keep my original passport or do I then apply for a Canadian passport? Thank you for all your knowledge, you have been so helpful.
