Hi, I am posting this on behalf of a friend. He was born here in Canada and has been living and working in the US for the past 25 years. Is there a problem with him coming back? would he have lost in Canadian citizenship? tks.

Oh I see. My husband is from the US but we asked that the documentation be sent to us in Canada as he is here visiting me.... I guess I will just sit back and wait like everyone else...... I'm not complaining.... ;D

how did you track it? Our decision made appeared in e-cas on February 28th and we are still waiting for the COPR. I live 45 minutes outside of Ottawa.... hopefully its coming soon....

I guess patience is a virtue ::) I got decision made on February 28th, inquired about what the decision was and received e-mail from CPP-O on March 8th saying our application has been approved. I am also still waiting for COPR, checking the mailbox everyday....

My status changed to Decision made on February 28 in E-cas. I e-mailed CPP-Ottawa and they were nice enough to tell me it has been approved. I am still waiting for COPR and I live in Ottawa...... I'm tempted to e-mail them again but I'm not sure if that will do me any good.

It will be 2 weeks for me tomorrow and nothing in the mail yet... and I am located in Ottawa where my file was processed.....go figure....

I just called them for the Driver's licence. He needs to show that he has at least 2 years experience driving. He can provide his existing driving licence as proof as there is an issue date on it and his was issued May 2009, therefore it shows that he has had it for more than 2 years.

I will certainly do that. What about for insurance purposes? Once he imports his vehicle over here, will the insurance company want his driving record to know how to assess him as a driver? I was thinking that this may influence how much insurance he will be paying. any advice is much...

I am also from Ontario so hubby will have to go through this soon. Where does he get a MVR aka Driving record from? Would that come from his insurance company in the US? tks

Try sending an e-mail to CPP-O. That's what I did. I sent them an e-mail on Monday and just got a response today.....

thanks. Yeah that would be nice. Did you get PPR? I never got PPR. The status changed to Decision Made and that's it. I sent them an-email earlier this week to find out what the decision is.....
