you are a lucky man. I am still waiting for my pre-scan since last 17 months. last week my employer got an email from them and they want him to describe my job duties.he submitted an email yesterday. will see what will happen next.

you need to hire a good lawyer. in some cases work permit may extend for one more year. meanwhile, hopefully you'll get your pre-scan. best of luck and keep updating.

we are in same boat, my friend. my employer applied pre-scan in May 2015 and got acknowledge letter next day. we get call from them in dec2015, after then get nothing from them. unfortunately, they didn't answer back to my employer's email. when your work permit will expire?
