you have wrong info bro...temproray resident visa is different from work permit...if you have OWP..you need to apply for TRV so that you can re enter canada....the only exception is if you are going to US and coming back from US..work permit is ok..TRV is not needed...

mine is in inprocess since july 29..i got my gcms last week n it said that my file is complete..waiting for an officer review.....so anytime..from now onwards..

Guys...either the end of this month or the beginning of next month we should get good news from CIC...my frnd who applied exactly 1 month before me..received his PPR on Sept 05...lets keep our fingers crossed...
