Im January 2014 applicant, AOR received in March, still waiting for MR

A lot of ppl are still waiting.. Even those who applied in Nov /Dec 2013!!

Hard to say man.. I am January applicant and still never received MR yet. My status shows 'In progress' - I dont know for how long its been like this , before it was 'Application received'.

Actually how can you do upfront medical? Do u have to pay for it? I'm from Toronto

Hey there, my status has also changed to 'In process'. It is hard to say how many days you have to wait now until you'll receive MR. Every case is different. But yes, indeed most people got it right after their status was changed to In Process.

Hi guys, So it's been 18 months now since I applied, still no MR, had my interview exactly a week ago. My question is: is it worth to set up a meeting with a local MP? What can they do actually? Obviously they can't speed up the application process, but can they get any more information...

Hey, I already had my interview. Yes , I was told that they pick up some random applications for training purposes. The conversation was really nice, took about an hour, going step by step through your file, talking about your canadian work experience. Did u have yours yet? Cheers

2013 app filed - Jan 16th AOR - march 20th

Hmm, hard to say, maybe one idea: I was working as a photographer in a restaurant/club. They called my employer but someone else picked up the phone and that person informed them that I was working in the kitchen lol. So after that they sent me an email, asking what exactly I was doing there...

They say to bring my passport only, and 'any document you may wish to have considered in your application.' hmmmm..
