Send an email looking for update. You can probably use your client id number or whatever else you are using to check the eCas status. Looks like they reply with your file number. You can use this file number to send letters then.

AFAIK there should be no issues. Keep in mind though, that you need to have proper paperwork to come back. Since I have applied, I have gone to the states multiple times for work and haven't had issues coming back in, so I don't see why family visits would be any different.

Is that true even if I am currently in Canada? I figured that one time landing visa would be used in case you are applying from outside Canada and are coming in to Canada since you wouldnt have a PR card prior to travel in this case. Am I mistaken?

know anything about the stamp though? do they actually use any pages on the passport? My understanding was that a PR card is used as a Visa, not an actual visa on my passport. Am I mistaken?

hey everyone... does anyone know that when a PR is granted, do they stamp anything on my passport at that point? I don't have many pages left on my passport, so should I get a new one. Also, would cic reject my application if my passport changes between what I gave them with my application form...

I used legal representation as well. My lawyers informed me after a week that they had my AOR a week ago. However, I knew that AOR was received because my ecas was updated before the lawyers informed me about receiving my AOR.
