If you have got mail with LOI attached it is definitely approved. Else you will have to wait until passport reaches your hand. Good luck! Keep us posted about the result. BTW when did you apply? Which category?

I am also facing same issue. No family name. AFAIK we cannot link our application. We have to live with VFS updates. Worst, we will only know if visa is approved once passport reaches our hand. It sucks! But that is how it is in our case
