Shruti dont worry too much..I really dont think you need to show any income like i said, now i'm not sure if there is a question in the form "How would you provide for your spouse", you can say "my husband and I will live with my parents" which is very normal for indian families. Trust me this...

Sam, how do you know it's 10 am? I thought it was random - I remember DNT posting that his eCAS status changed to "In Process" in the middle of the night.

You dont need any income to sponsor your spouse so dont worry about it, you only need to show income to sponsor your parents. So not sure what guide you read...maybe some other ppl can shed some light on this but i'm 100% sure you do not need to show any income to apply for your spouse.

Girmi - I know how you feel, I applied for my wife on Feb 28,2011 and it has been 10 weeks since ND received my wife's PP and eCAS shows "In Process" and god know how long its gonna take. I am pretty sure there are some Jan and Feb applicants also still waiting and we even know some March...

Deepiv - Congratulations for the Shinny Visa...I'm also from Vancouver and I dont think there is any direct flight to India from west coast, i'm sure there is a direct flight to TO and then from TO to Vancouver...you can try but i doubt you will find anything.

Hey DNT, Congrats man i guess i'm the last one to congratulate you being in the west coast and all but hope you get speedy visa. I am also thinking of sending ND an email but will wait a couple of more weeks, it has been 9 weeks since ND received PP and no visa yet.

All, My wife's eCAS status says "In Process" since June 3 but i dont have the medicals received line that i see most ppl get, not sure if anyone had this and in my case status changed to In Process after a month of PPR request and normally in this forum, everyone who got In Process after PPR...

PPR request will be sent to the address provided in India, that's what happened with me and i have a lawyer in Canada.

Sam - I dont think anyone can say how long it will take once they receive your old passsports, you can only hope for the best, my guess is it could take from 2 weeks to another 2 months. My status is also "In Process" and they started processing my file on june 3, 5 days b4 yours and my wife...

Once your eCas says Decision Made, usually you get PP back between 2-5 days...what is your eCAS status...please share your timeline.

@ Sam, Firt of all I think you worry too much and to answer your questions it really does not mean anything...my status is also "In Process" but it doesn't say anything about Medicals being received or not, My application the status changes to In Process after 6 weeks of PPR and in your case...
