Thanks....fingers crossed I'll survive this time ;D this forum has been invaluable to me throughout the form filling, evidence gathering and stage 1. Sometimes just being able to know its 'normal' to check e-cas (for whats its worth) a gazillion times a day helps you stay a little sane...

thats great news :) know they 'had' mine and my daughters as the DMP forgot to fill in half of my daughters so have had it re-done - just hope they match them up now ???

Can I ask which Visa Office is processing stage 2 for you?

Just curious....any fellow September applicant seen movement on e-cas? In particular London VO if medical received?

Not sure who is editing...have added mine for the third time - has been deleted the two other occasions I added it!! Just thought the more detail we have to go off the better. However, if I should have requested the add from anybody in particular, apologies, fairly new around here :)

Hi fellow Septemberer's!!! The spreadsheet is very nearly all coloured in :) Not sure if we have lost a couple of the very early September applicants? Anyways, speedy sponsor approval wishes for the remainder. Try not to get to fed up if you are still waiting...our sponsor approval came...

Depending on where husband is in Canada - but call centre is open 7am-7pm Ontario time - they say 8-4 on website - we have always had much more luck getting through either very first thing of end of day...hope this helps :)

Might be worth giving CIC a call to check how and where letter sent to. Many of us, myself included are experiencing problems with incorrect addresses. but sounds like good news :)

Had similar nightmare with addresses in system - notified London VO of new address for me (applicant) so they changed hubby's (sponsors) mailing address to one in the UK!!! He has e-mailed CIC and I have e-mailed London VO so fingers crossed they will sort it out!! The spreashseet is looking...

We finally got sponsor approval yesterday 7th Nov :) Notification came from pilot at Ottawa ?!

Great to see it progressing - fellow September applicant could not see status change within e-cas until at least a week after the sponsor approval e-mail - so sounds about normal right now :)

No you need the official letter from CIC to confirm sponsorship - this will be the first thing - e-cas usually about a week behind.

CIC specifically state that e-cas should not be relied upon to determine a sucessful application. You need to rely on direct communication from CIC or VO.. I am 2 days behind you and right now would bite their hands off for sponsor approval e-mail...so like I suggested relax and enjoy :D
